dreads question....(sorry if this isnt in the right catagory)

Hey there all. Sorry if you don't like where i posted this... I couldnt find a "hair" catagory place hah. Well, see i think dreadlocks are beautiful and natural looking and I reallllllly want to get them....buttttt, my mom doesn't really want me getting them. I mean she doesnt think there dirty but I don't really know really why she won't let me. I think she may be warming up to letting me get them but she's still saying no. So, if anyone has a few positive, convincing words to say about them that I can show her that would be wonderful. Thank you now. Peace and love

why making a deal about having dreads. i'm sorry but i think that is stupid, dreads are beautifull and something that isn't stupid or something you have to make a deal about.

 

yeah, but when you're 14 your mum still has a lot to say about how you look and whether or not you can change your appearance drastically. she may be worried about what other people think or what your school will say.

try and find out what her objections are then find a way to counteract them. making a deal could be quite a good idea if its the only way to get what you want.

There's nothing wrong with Snelio making a deal with her parents. Not in my opinion atleast.
