i feel so bad for them, they're the best station and people arent giving them enough money. i was watching it the other night and i saw some car comercials. i almost screamed, it was scary.
maybe....but i'd rather my money go to animal rescue organizations and shelters rather than a tv station, even though PBS is quality programming (and there ain't much of that as we know)
My local pbs station has run 8 membership drives this past year but they still fund shitty local shows, I'll pass thank you, when they ditch those shows and stop advertising shows they don't run or own rights for (wishbone) I might give them money, till then, they can collapse like rome
Well, Let's START with Mister Rogers and Sesame Street for our Kids. For anyone who likes to learn, NOVA. Lots of great stuff comes on PBS. Including Music Concerts!
Globetrekker I've been hooked on the show since I've come back from Japan. But I hate the fact they always play some car add before the show starts. I've never thought about donating money to PBS. There would probably be some better places to donate money, but a donation to PBS wouldn't be a waste
Charlie Rose, NPR (radio), and every year they would play a live Grateful Dead performance during their fundrasing drives.
PBS is the first place I seen the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. You know...Bob Ross...the guy with the afro that makes painting look so easy. I swear he must blaze the biggest joint before he starts to paint because he's so mellow.
I love pbs. That's the only station I really feel good watching... it's a shame. There are some really nice concerts on
