so what are some of the moments from films that people have seen that they just thought were absolutely perfect? You know, like moments when you were just blown away by the general awesomeness of the whole thing?

here's just a few off the top of my head (sorry about spoilers):

Donnie Darko - The final scene where 'Mad World' plays while we see the characters tossing and turning in the night; also the scene where they get off the bus and the camera is all crazy and that Tears for Fears song - head over heels? plays

Garden State - the whole scene surrounding the infinite abyss

The Princess Bride - Where you think Inigo Montoya is about to fail, but he comes back :"Hello, My name is Inigo Montoya. you killed my father, prepare to die". Also when the grandad says 'as you wish'. awwwwww.

Amelie - where she takes the blind man through the streets and narrates the world to him. WOW. I also love the last scene with them on the bike.

American Beauty - the final scene where he talks about death and about how his grandmother's hands were like paper and that quote about "it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday".

200 Cigarettes - I love the final naaration with the photos from the party.

Fight Club - When it all falls into place, you know you'll never see the movie the same way again, almost a pity.

Shawshank Redemption - When Andy plays the Marriage Of Figaro over the PA. The Narration is a real chin wobbler.

Heat - When Pacino holds De Niro's hand as he dies at the end.

The Dear Hunter - Again a De Niro moment, when Walken plays Russian Roulette for the last týme. 'Just one shot' First movie that moved me to tears.

Dumb and Dumber - 'Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?' HAHAHAHAHAHA, still makes me smile.

Let's hope there are many more......

I love the movies so very much.

Amadeus deathbed scene when Mozart and Salieri are composing the Requiem. I can think of a lot of scenes from great movies, but that one goes beyond the limits. I heard a lot of it was improvised, too.
