I wonder if it's gonna work. It's not good for the ecosystem if it works. It's going to throw everything out of order because marijuana is not native to the land.

Actually my friend collects the seeds and just keeps them. His girlfriend planted a bunch in his front yard and they started to actually grow, then they moved it into a pot and put some soil in em, they are looking pretty nice now. Ive been thinking about doing that seeing that the weed I have is fucking seedy. But for now my stomache fucking hurts so I think im going to smoke some pot.

yeah im thinkin the sucess rate is low if u just throw them..but if u took the time cover every seed up with dirt them im sure u would have some that would pop up...and im thinkin the eco system would never have been better if there was a out break of pot...but yeah were not that lucky..

hehe well it grows so well because it is one of the most effective growing plants in any environment. but if you spread it along the roadside the only thing youd be taking over are real weeds... so it would probably be good in the end.

    the indians smoked tobacco

and, yes, marijuana is better for soil than a hormone-injected crop would be

How the hell could you not realize that indians smoked tobacco? It's your country's major bloody crop, isn't it? Ganja native to USA? <shakes head sadly>

Cannibis is native to the indian subcontinent.

...Didn't they jusy declare an open season on feral cats back east somewhere, for that very reason?...they are screeeewin' up the natural order of predation and over running the environment.

On to native, landrace, wild MJ. MJ left to fend for itself, under natures selection, will eventually revert to hemp. Worthless for anything other than rope or fabric. Natural selection will allow hermophrodites and the earliest males to dominate the genetic structure, resulting in a degredation of thc and psychoactive compounds.
Cannabis has flourished as a medicinal and mind altering plant by centuries of selective breeding. Choose only the best...trashcan the rest....(breeding philosophy)

Well, what we call "weeds" (not the marijuana kind, that is) are really just wildflowers that people don't want in their gardens. We still call the roadside plants "weeds" but they're really just wildflowers/plants. I don't know how bad cannabis would be to the ecosystem (does anything eat it?) but it would be kind of a shame if it started outcompeting wildflowers.
