um....shit i think its infected

i did a branding yester day its very thin and not deep at all it looks like its infected,im paronid like hell the burn, isnt very big at all ive been keeping it coverd and put A&D and rubbing alcholo on it will i be fine if i just let it heal casue i dont want to lose a leg, or my life

 

I dont know much about branding but I would stay away from rubbing alcohol.. Just clean it with anti-bacterial soap.

 

it's probably just doing it's regular healing process. Burns go through a gross stage before they heal...yellow and sticky.LOL weren't you told to use polysporin or something?

 

it is yellow an gross i hope its just normal healing,not that bad tho actuly i think im porbly over reacting but i shouldnt say anything i have a problem with infections, i didnt use neosporin cause that fades scars and the whole point of a brand is to have a scar,im going to wash it realy good and put more stuff on it right now hope it heals ok, i put neosporin on it and washed it off with anti bactiral soap and it looked alot better once i washed it off, i put a steral pad on it im just going to let it heal and not mess with it anymore

i concur with the above and also yellow is okay, just puss, (i think) but watch out for green tint..

 

Burns always go yellowy, dont worry as above said its just puss. White blood cells fixing you. Stick some tea tree oil mixed with water on it, thats a really good natural anticeptic.

 

ahaha as it turns out i was just over reacting its fine, i looked at it today half of it is already scabing, i think i might finish it this weekend not sure yet, i had my slef all worryed yesterday for nothing i mean i was freaking out too thought they have to cut out part of my leg,ahaha sorry im paronid

 

oh man, the worst thing you could possibly do is put rubbing alcohol on it. It needs to be moisturized....or maybe not....since you do want it to scar badly....i dont know.....*shudders* i couldn't imagine

 

the rubbing alcohol WILL infect the branding....keep going with the a&d and get some bag balm....it comes in a green can with a pic of cow utters on the front...ew i know but its allll i ever use on tattoos and piercings

 

yeah i stoped use the alochol after two days casue it was looking messed up,i started useing soap water and neosporen,it looks great now im going to finish it next week

but if you're not skilled and trained,there is a great possibility you're going to fuck yourself up.
