Humboldt: I find out tomrorow...

I find out tomorrow if I got into Humboldt and I've been shitting my pants in anticipation... mostly because I have no fallback plan. I've been accepted to other schools, but this is the only one I'm want to go to.

But I'm glad, I know a boat-load of people now... you and Sarah. Alright, well maybe it's a dingy.

Yeah, I'll be in the dorms. I don't have enough money saved up to get an apartment, and for simplicity purposes... it's just easier. What about you?

I'm actually worried about the dorms because I don't get along with many women.... I can't stand the shopping, hair and make-up, isn't he so hot bullshit. I hope I get lucky either with a single room, or with a bitchin' 'mate.

 

I just got out of the dorms (thankfully). My room mate was a heavy snorer, and always managed to fall asleep before me. Useful tip: Do not eat perishables from the Giant's Cupboard around finals week. They phase out all the food and dont place new orders. I had food poisoning the week of my two most important exams.

So anyway, Im going to be in a townhouse over the summer (my own room!) and then the four of us mates are looking to move into a house for the fall. And if you ever feel a need to get away from the dorms, visitors are always welcome.

 

the dorms here seem really chill actually. i wouldnt worry about the girls TOO much.. most are pretty laid back, etc.. not too worried about how they look. of course there are always those few that do, but you have to remember that it is humboldt, LOL, there are always 'hippies' around

 

Yeah, my fear is that I'm just so lucky that I'll get stuck with the ONE person in the dorm who is like that... and I hadn't even thought about snoring... I don't want to think about snoring. I can't sleep if someone is just breathing heavily. Too bad the dorm contract is for a year, rather than semester by semester... otherwise I'd get a place second semester.

If worst comes to worst, I guess I can just go camp on the beach.

 

woo i applyed and got in but its just do darn expensive, so i settled for good ole ETSU, Eastern Tennesse State University... Woo....
