We hit Oude Zijde around 1300 yesterday. There were absolutely no hassles going through customs. All we had to do was show our passports at the end of the jet way. We dropped off the bags, and went to The Bluebird and sampled their AK-47 and Isolater. Both were very tasty, and very reasonably priced. We checked out the Niewmarkt and the surrounding area. We then went to the Albert Heijn and stocked up on groceries and some wine. There was a very helpful guy at in the wine store next to the Albert Heijn, and we picked up two bottles of wine at a very reasonable price. Back at the apartment, we mixed some of the AK-47 and Isolater together in a joint, and worked up an incredible case of the munchies. We put in a ready-to-bake pizza from AH into the oven and popped open a couple of bottles of wine. Finished off the evening with more of the AK-47 and Isolater mix, and hit the bed. Up at around 700, breakfast by 830, and dishes done and clothes in the washing machine by 900. And, of course, another case of the munchies before noon! Well, out to sample some more shops and do a little sightseeing. Thanks to everyone's advice here, we hit the ground running. God, I love this city!!! More later...

Ak-47 looks literally good enough to eat !! Me and 3 mates fly out at half 1 this thursday afternoon. I am like a little kid waiting for x-mas !! Roll on 4pm today to start my 2 weeks off work :sunglasse

This is why I like the Hip-Forums because you can upload pictures and images while your there. Not always an easy thing to do as well as cropping them ready for uploading to fit the Hip-Forums, etc.
Apparently the Dolphin is back selling weed. Hey, 420 any chance you can confirm this as your there, and if you get a chance, that is.?
YAY!!! I hope this is true... Even tho its kinda touristy, I still loved the Dolphin. I can chill out there for HOURS and HOURS haha... Plz let us know if you can 420!!!

The weather cleared off today, and we have done a lot of sight-seeing, as well as hitting a couple of more coffeeshops. So far, we have sampled the following: AK-47 Ice-O-Later Kali Mist Special Abraxas Hash Abraxas Hash Brownies New York Diesel BioHaze Northern Lights The Bluebird is just around the corner, so I'll definitely check out the Sage. Sorry, but the Dolphin wasn't anywhere near the path we wandered today. It was sunny, and just seemed perfect for a walk in the zoo. Maybe tomorrow... So far, the AK-47 and the Bio Haze are high on the "Good Lord, that was really good!" list. All of the hashes are excellent. The NY Diesel was from the Bluebird.
