Some police (not all) are such fucking pigs. My friend is a 14 year old girl, about 5'4'', and certainly not much of a threatening looking person. The other day at the mall, she was messing around with some of her peoples, and one boy (yes a boy, keep this in mind) gets pissed at her for some typical teenage something whatever. She apologized to him and things went on as normal. However, he lets himself stew over it for a while and decides that the most appropriate thing to do is to pour his coke all over her and throw his cup at her. If I may break for a minute here, i would just like to say that this doubly pisses me off, because guys really shouldnt fuck with girls like that. Listen to me guys, you do not hit a woman, you do not beat on a woman, and you certainly dont pour or throw ANYTHING on a woman in anger. If you do, you do not deserve balls because you are not a man! Continuing. She did what anyone would do, and proceeded to "defend" herself.

    Enter the cops.

Now I understand that cops need to break up fights, and i understand that some force must be taken. BUT- There is a line. The fight was broken up, and the cops told my friend that they need to go over and talk. When she walked away with them she was forced onto a table and arrested without having any rights read or anything. Now this small 14 year old girl was arrested by TWO cops mind you. And they were not small old little mall cops. These were big men. I saw. They bruised her up very badly, her wrists are swollen and her shoulder is popped out of place (this is because the cops pulled her arms back and above her head in a position i couldnt imitate if i tried to the BEST of my abilities) Nothing was done according to procedure during the arrest. she was not carrying any weapons and had no place to conceal any weapons. she didnt even have her purse on her.

This isnt where it ends. Now that the cops were finished physically abusing her, they started verbally abusing her. I saw her crying. I saw her scared out of her mind. The police told her that they didnt deal with punks like her. told her to "shut the hell up" they called her a bitch, an idiot, and worst of all, actually laughed at scars had on her because of previous abuse. What pisses me off the most is that these are two grown, muscular, supposedly mature "men".

I have decided to write a letter to the chief of the huntsville city police department about what parts i did witness friday. I dont know how far it will go, and i dont know if anything will ever be done to reprimand the cops on duty at the mall that day. But so help me God, I hope they come to very unfortunate days in the coming years. I cannot imagine how any self respecting human being can treat a 14 year old girl in this manner and not feel any guilt about it at all. We have some sick, sick freak cops working in this country. And I have had just about as much as I can stand.

Wow thats pretty fucked up, although it sounded like she did resist arrest the violence shouldnt have been that bad. If i was you i would tell her to file multiple complaints against the local law enforcement and take full legal action and teach those fuckers a lesson.

She'd learn all too quickly that such legal action would go nowhere. The police protect their own from accountability.

You'll probably have better luck if you also write to your local newspaper about this incident. As someone mentioned, the cops will most likely sweep this incident under the rug, if there's no public outrage.

What did her parents/guardians say about this? If she wanted to do something about it,the whole incident would be on the mall's security tapes surely....maybe she should get a lawyer(I assume she would need one to get the security tapes)....or at the very least, the media may grab the story and shed some light on it. That's terrible that she was treated like that. What did they do to the boy that was also involved?

a friend of mine is an Ex Cop....I talked to him why some cops are such jerks because they are supposed to SERVE and PROTECT...He was like no we aren't honestly if we did serve people we'd be in deep crap...Plus people are stupid idiots...

When I got in a fight last year with two other guys i was calm and cool about it and was more or less talking to the cops like i would anyone else *keep in mind my noses is bleeding and my eye is swollen shut almost* and talking to the cops about weather of all things actully saved my arse in the long run....I guess it depends on the cop.

Cops tend to go ballistic on middle-schoolers, just because at that point they still have a chance of 'making an impression'. Most of the time the impression is "do this shit outside so i don't have to come to this mall and mess about with this petty middle-school shit."

If they hurt her, then they should be fired, though.

He was walked out by a cop. The cop even opened the door for him when he was walking out. I think he called a ride or something because he was talking on his cell phone when i saw him in the Parking lot. He was talking to the cop about something before he left but I didnt catch any of what was said. I cant figure out why they were so readily listening to him and not even giving her a chance to really tell her side of things.

I'm don't buy this story for a couple of reasons.

1.) No sensible cop would do this because of possible career destruction.

    2.) I'm a cynic

Another thing the cops did that i heard yesterday from my friend that was sort of laughable... The one cop was like, ok we're going to take you to the D'home (Juvenile detention hall... whatever it is) and he was like walking her to the door all scary and shit, and then at the last second one cop came and "Changed the other cop's mind" and was like, "Hey man, lets go easy on her this one time. Maybe you could just take her to the office instead." and i guess that was supposed scare her or something like she was going to jail. The other cop was like... "Are you sure we should make it that easy?" or something to that effect. I think that was part of that whole, making an impression thing you mentioned.
