To those who I talk to on a regular basis....

I won't be about for a bit.. Unless some miracle occurs..

My Pc officially died yesterday.. it turns on.. but the minute it gets to windows it just restarts and does it over and over and over again

So alas. No msn and stuff for me.. and a normal life is ahead till I get it sorted..

Take care mon petit filous xx

Dick head PC hardware is cheap . power supply $30 to 40 about 20 pounds. harddrive about the same. it might be just full of virus and spyware and cookies.

Might be that MS Blaster worm if you're on XP and have always-on broadband...

Nooo! If it is the worm just disconnect it (physically) from the internet, apply the fix for the worm, install a firewall and bob's yer uncle.

If it still happens even when you're not connected to the internet then it's not the worm I'm thinking of ... so yeah ... reformat your hard drive:p

you could just need a new fan.. i had this problem and it was caused by overheating.. have a feel around and see if its a bit toastier than normal and if it is.. just get a new fan.

there are different variations of the worm, sounds like no matter what they try they wont be able to log onto windows at all... the worm I had did that, i think it was the Sasser Worm.
and I had to reformat it... so if you cant get onto windows, reformat.

Overheating could be it too... if in your bios settings you have it so the computer shuts down if the cpu reaches a certain temp, could be that... which means you could either need a new heatsink or a new cpu altogether.

good advice. but that happens when the computer have been runing for a while and things got hot . also check your CPU "PROCESOR" FAN on the heatsink.
