Important Safety Tip

The other day me and my friend were smoking out of a small water piece but instead of water we filled it up with Jack Daniels so we could take a shot afterwards and get fucked up off of it. I told my friend about it and he told me that I shouldn't do that because if the flame hits the alcohol then it can explode. I hadn't thought of that before, but now that he mentioned it, it does seem very dangerous. I just thought I'd share this info with you guys, just in case.

 

thats a really bad idea...you would get less thc (i think), and when you drink the jack daniels it would taste aweful. Not sure if it would get you more fucked up.

Those flaming Lamborginis are hella crazy, fucks you up pretty good man. I thought that the guys at this one party made it up, or so he said. Or if your local (Auburn, Roseville area, CA), thats crazy!

 

if you would put a cloth in that bong, lit it an throw it at something than yeah.. it'll be dangerous (hello molotov) but I agree with the rest that it doesn't just explode from that.. the whole idea of a molotov is that you spread the alcohol out thin (that's why you have to throw it, because when the glass hits a car of whatever it breaks and the alcohol spreads), so there is the right amount of oxygen and thin alcohol to catch fire (from the cloth).. the neck of a bong is way to small probably to allow enough oxygen in there to make it set fire.. let alone explode.

I dunno.. just try it But smoking through an alcohol filled bong is NOT the same as playing with a molotov

 

Jack Daniels will burn, but it's not as flammable as moonshine, as someone said. It'd be damn hard for the flame up by the bowl to reach the liquor in the bong with enough heat left to actually ignite it.

I still advise against it, because it's a waste of good liquor (think icky bong water) and alcohol absorbs THC, so you'll get less high. I also don't like being drunk and stoned at the same time, but that's just me.

 

Yeah, I've tried to tell people that alcohol can do that but they always try to tell me I'm wrong and it helps break the THC down in a good way.

 

lol i was doing that one time at this party. The bong ignited the jd it didnt explode though it just stayed in the bong. The Cops busted into the party while i had the bong in my hand and i was stoned as shit and i tossed the bong at the cops feet. It acted like a mov-tov cocktail and it exploded all over the cops giving three of them 3rd degree burns. Not to mention i almost burnt the whole fucking house down. Anyway to say the least that night sucked seeing as ive been in jail for the past 20 years and just got let out last month. SO DONT FILL THE BONG WITH JD KIDS OR YOU COULD WASTE YOUR LIFE LIKE I DID MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

our judical system is complete bullshit, someone can molest a child and go to jail for 3 years, but when you drop a bong and it burns someone you get 20? thats fucked up

I correspond with US prisoners (as penpals) so I know how hard it is doing time in the US.. in fact, one of them will be released in about 3 years (after doing 15).. he's scared shitless of entering society again.. what were your experiences?

and btw, oxygen is needed for fire.w hen your hittin a bong, your sucking all the oxygen, plus smoke, out of it... not much left to ignite a fire...

 

ya its not realy unsafe, but I dunno why you'd want to use any kind of alcohol?!?!?!
