one time i was taking a hit out of my bong and i was lookin at it and i thought 'bongs are so cool...its like..theres smoke...on the water!' and then a couple seconds after i said that in my head i was like 'hey thats like that song! maybe that song is about bongs!' and fire in the sky..the lighter!! haha. am i nuts or ???

i wandered this like 4 years ago and once i actually listened to the lyrics i was kinda set straight..but yeh maybe someone should make up some new lyrics for that..haha...i know ritchie blackmore and the deep purple crew were some stoners
I was stoned and listening to Hendrix one time and in my head I said I'm not stoned but It's beautiful adn then the song went "Have you ever been experienced, Not necessarily stoned but beautiful." I did't even know the song said that nad when it happened I was amazed by the radio.
Yeah Ive always wondered that about the song Purple Haze. I think its about his dream he had or something.
all songs can be interpreted different ways. you can make any song a drug song if you really tried. but anyways, the smoke on the water thing is a good theory. i would have never thought of that.
