I've had my nose pierced twice in my life. The first time I had it done, I had no problem at all with the healing process...but this second time around, I've had quite the opposite. It was infected for a little while, but now has healed up leaving an unsightly red bump just around the nose stud. I've considered getting it removed with liquid nitrogen if it dosen't go away. Have any of you have had this happen before? Would you mind telling me if this bump goes away? Or any other methods I could use to get rid of it? Any help would be awesome. much thanks fellow's and ette's. peace
I had the same kind of thing on my nose. The doctor told me it was scar tissue. I put a bit of metho and water on it about twice a day and it made it go away.
i had the EXACT same thing. The first time i had it it healed amazingly. I went to my friend's cousin (he works at a shop) and he said it healed quickily and perfectly and that he was impressed. ( i am quite proud of my schnoze for that) i just had it redone 3 months ago. I then got a horrible bump around it. I thought it was an infection, so i went to the doctor. it ends up that the antiseptic i used dried my nose out so much it overcompensated with oil and i had a pimple right next to the hole. IT SUCKED. i went on an antibiotic and it was gone in a week or so.
