OK,I've been debating whether or not to post this anyway and this thread is definately the place. Xander has this stuffed elephant named Elly-Belly,she's a sock elephant,like a sock monkey but an elephant.He likes to put Elly-Belly's trunk up to my booby and make slurpy nursy sounds and then go "mmmm!"
My 10 and a half month old boy likes to go to the boob, drink until he starts dozing off, just as he falls a sleep he wakes with a start pops off the nipple, "saddly painful for my wife", rolls out of her lap gets on all fours looks at me and smiles and starts cooing as loud as he can. As if to say "Once again our brave heroe has evaded the horrible dredges of sleep through his quick moves and impecable timing, Nothing can ever defeat Insomnia babbbbbby!!!!!
Hahahaha!!! lolololol!!!! H- That is hilarious!! UrsusKind- My ten month old daughter does the same thing, but instead of cooing, she sits up and screams, dadda!!!!! At the top of her lungs. Then she switches back and forth between us until she is finally slayed by the evil sleep monster.
I think that's great - he knows that your breast/breastmilk is comforting and nurtering, and he wants to share it with somebody he cares about (Elly-Belly )
Yeah, I had to have my kids hold soft toys while nursing (which I often ended up "nursing" as well) because I HATE the twiddling. It gives me the heeby jeebys. I couldn't let Moon hold anything hard while nursing, I got hit in the face with a huge wood truck more than once. I had to frisk her before picking her up to nurse, because she would try to hold stuff like this while nursing, sometimes trying to hide them so I wouldn't see them. ONLY soft toys. I've "nursed" more stuffies and baby dolls than I can count. Toddlers love nursing and want to share.
Oh!! I'm looking foward to that with Sash. Sage only nursed for just over 9months and then weened himself. Sash seems like she's going to nurse forever...she's already passed up Sages record, and shows no signs of losing interest.
my 11 week old son loves playing with my boob and nipple. he will latch on to my nipple suck really hard and pull his head back until my nipple slips out of his mouth and smile so big. or he will hit my boob with his fist and latch on to my boob and smile at the same time it is sooo cute.
My 9.5 month old DD does the smile-with-a-mouthful-of-ninny thing and I think that is the greatest "thank you" for a mom! Big ole smile with milk running out of her mouth! CUTE!
