smokin in relationships

just wondering, i just got a g/f.. first one that smokes pot...

im wondering, which do you people like more?

the chicks who smoke pot with you? or the ones that dont smoke (assuming they dont mind if you do)?

any complications with smoking in relationships?

There arn't many complications with smoking in a relationship, its just one more thing you can do togeather.

 

haha well it can create some problems..in some relationships i mean hell, my last b/f wanted me 2 QUIT just because he didnt do it...so i was like no way man. i tried to meet him half way and i said 'i wont do it around you then' but i guess that wasnt 'good' enough lol. but anyways, like i wudnt care if my boyfriend didnt smoke...just as long as he understands if i want too. when i used to not smoke a few years back, some of my b/fs smoke, but i didnt care tho , you know? he just smoked with his friends and its not like i cared.

but what do you think is betteR? i personally think its better 2 have yer b/f or g/f smoke with you..i mean, might as well, its just more time u can spend 2gether..stoned. thats all

 

i think if one person in the relasionship is a smoker and the other isn't then it can cause huge problems. depending on the people of course this wouldnt be the case with everyone.
i know when i was younger and didn't smoke, never had, my boyfriend did and it really bothered me. i felt like i was on a totally different wavelength to him (and now i know i probably was, being a smoker now)
it also depends on what the pot does to you. if it makes you selfish and lazy which it does to a lot of heavy smokers then it can obviously effect the relasionship or at least make it a lot more unpleasant for the non-smoker.

beleg - im curious to know what you base your opinions on, just being 14 cant imagine you would have experienced a lot to be able to judge thats all (i am not trying to be rude in any way)

My last g/f kept wanting me to quit smoking grass, cut my hair, and basically become a square and I was like uh...no, so I got rid of her.

 

NEVER cut your hair, especially for some girl.

 

this doesnt have to do with a girlfriend, but i use to smoke with all my friends all my firends smoke,one doesnt but he use to, i quit because i started having lung problems,i have no problem with people smoking around me or anything,but i do get pissed when my firend bitches at my house that he needs to get high i keep telling no cause my parnets are home, and he didnt show up twice when we had shit planed cause he wanted to get high its starting to becoming a problem but just with him

 

im surprised that nobody has mentioned how good the sex is when your baked and being intimate with someone you care about...

i dont see it as a terrible problem...but then again some people are very uncool when it comes to weed. i say its really up to you jack to figure it out, cuz youll never know until you try.

 

Hehe, I was sorta baked when I wrote that, and I was refering to when you both smoke. I've only had one relationship and that was like, a few months ago, before I started smoking.

She kept saying that since my hair was longer than hers it wasnt right and stuff. I only went out with her like 2 weeks, I couldnt take the nagging and stuff anymore.

She hated rock and techno, all she wanted to listen to was country. I dont know why I went out with her in the first place

 

if she smokes then if you want to maintain a full, healthy relationship then he has to smoke also. It works both ways, if she doesn't smoke then the guy doesn't smoke either.

 

i found it very hard to go out with someone when they didnt smoke. they said that pot was taking over my life and eventually if not now i would become addicted. i tried giving my side of the story and all but he just wouldnt listen. we finally called it quits after almost 5 months of hell. im so glad that i have someone now that has the same interests AND i can smoke with and not be judged.

 

haha yah i know wut u mean blazednconfused...my last b/f kept saying i was choosing the weed over him and he got all mad jus cuz i smoked like 5 times in a row(and this way back wen i didnt smoke that much..now i smoke like almost everyday haha) and hes like ur gonna get addicted and all this crap. its like i wasnt nescaily choosing weed over HIM..it was like, i was choosing to do my own thang and live my own life without anyones bitching OVER , him.

I loved having a man to share weed with. We smoked after work and vented about our jobs, we smoked peace pipes after a fight, ect.

aw, now I really miss having a guy to smoke with.

 

My b/f used to smoke pot all the time, but lately if he does it he will get panic attacks, and it sucks, he's turning against it so much, to the point he would end up breaking up with me if I don't stop smoking.. **shakes head**.. and we've also been dating for almost 2 years now, so it's pretty hard..

 

you need to get a man that will let you be you. You'll only end up resenting him in the end.

Be strong and live life so that you are doing what YOU want to do. Don't let anyone else influence your choices.
