Some presidential history. Look what happens when a President gets elected in a year with a "0" at the end. Also notice it goes in increments of 20 years. 1840: William Henry Harrison (died in office) 1860: Abraham Lincoln (assassinated) 1880: James A. Garfield (assassinated) 1900: William McKinley (assassinated) 1920: Warren G. Harding (died in office) 1940: Franklin D. Roosevelt (dies in office) 1960: John F. Kennedy (assassinated) 1980: Ronald Reagan (survived assassination attempt) 2000: George W. Bush ???????????? Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Now hang on to your seat. Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.' Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.' Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater. Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. And here's the kicker... A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe. Creepy huh? Hey, this is one history lesson people don't mind reading.

Why didn't that bastard do something about the Johnson guy (decapitated) in Saudi Arabia? That's called the "Zero Curse." It's more urban legend than fact, and was "broken" in 1981 when Ronald Reagan, elected in 1980, survived an assassination attempt. But, there's always hope that it was only a temporary lapse in voodoo, and the person elected in 2000 will get what they deserve... Anyway, the legend is that it was a curse cast on William Harrison by either Tecumseh or his brother "The Prophet." He predicted that Harrison would die in office, and every 20 years another Prez would follow suit. And they did, from 1840 until 1980... There are also some other origins. It's a really creepy thing... it makes me just a little bit more unsure about the "monster in my closet." Here are some links that might help.
