Yep, Jazz. Ain't it one of the most beautifull types of music ever? I love it, do you? My favorite artist are Charlie Parker (the sax has the greatest sound in the world to me.) , Dizzy Gilliespie (sp?), Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Chet Baker... I just love the old Jazz.
Jazz is awsome. My orchestra used to do a lot of jazz and improv. I really liked it. It was all wood instruments, too, which you almost never hear, though that's really how it kinda started.
Miles Davis -Kind of Blue is one of my favorite jazz cds. When I got it I played it when I got up, when i went to sleep and in between. It's one of the best cd's I own. I also like Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald is one of the greatest singers.
Of all the gigs that I've been to most have been rock and Hip Hop but the most amazing musical experience that I've had was when I saw Humphrey Littleton and his band playing with Stacey Kent, it was amazing! I regularly listen to Stacey Kent, Chet Baker and Miles Davis.
