AKA Ditch weed. It's never good. Not even worth searching for it. Plus, wild weed doesn't have anyone to eliminate the males, so most of the buds will be flowers.

If the road you're wandering along is in connecticut you'll not pick up any smoke I'm sure. Most wild strains are Ruderalis type or derivatives. They grow low and branch very little, are usually auto flowering (not dependent on the length of day trigger) and will get you a nice high. But I've never found one in the wilds! And I live in the wilds! b1

The only wild weed you'll find growing throughout the Midwest is called ditch weed. Don't waste your time because you won't get high but you will get a nice headache.

    ...

    What?

Yeah, cannabis is a ... um... weed. So, pretty much in decent conditions with sun and a fair weather pattern, it should grow. Pretty much like those other grassy weeds you see in your yard. Yeah.
