dudes and babes i gotta tell ya i just picked up the new soad cd, and i must say i love it! its sooo freaking cool man all the songs are great. the only problem is that its really short but i think they are releasing the second part of it later on. so go to your local album dealer and pick it up! i got a free t shirt with it too which is also exciting. so yay for soad!

 

I heard BYOB a couple of days ago and really liked it, so I can't wait to get the new CD...

 

I just picked that CD up about 10 minutes ago.... I like it too. I like track 3 best ... I still haven't seen SOAD in concert yet, and it's getting on my nerves...

 

Violent Pornography has to be the most fucked up song I've ever heard. Well next to I-E-A-I-A-I-O.

I agree that it's a good song, I listen to that album all the time...but that song is just nuts.

My all time favorite by SOAD has to be Sugar. I could listen to that song all day everyday...

By the way, has anyone here actually seen SOAD in concert?

I'm assuming they should be coming here sometime soon since the new album's out, and I'm NOT going to miss it...not again.

 

i gotta admit, i'm a bit disappointed. serj tankian has became the fucking backup vocalist; co-lead singer at best. why must malakian's whiny voice accompany him throughout every damn song? the music is good, but lyrics-wise this is their worst album. "sad statue" is the exception--best song on the album.

 

i dunno i dont think its that bad he still sings alot man. the other dude is cool to come in once in a while. well i like it

 

My favorite album of theirs is toxicity...but their other albums are good too. man they are great.

 

My Favorite song is and always will be "Soil". God, I love that song...

 

I think the new album is awesome. serj and daron have sometimes oppisite political stances (i.e. daron is basically a hermit and serj is an activist) but it makes the music so...well, awesome. i havent heard or seen this much buzz about an album in awhile, and it deffinatly deserves it. soad kick ass

 

okay... the album has grown on me over the past two days. it's fucken great. i can't stop listening to it. i still believe there's too much malakian, but i'm beginning to move past it. "don't eat the fish!!"... whatever the fuck that means...

 

I got the new cd. Very very impressed.

 

ive always liked the mixture of both voices.. kinda gives it a unusual sound that´s not common..... my favorite are by far ATWA, Spiders, and aereals...

 

I-E-A-I-A-I-O is my favorite on Steal This Album..Haha it's fucked...

Chop Suey is the best. Same with (heh) The Theme of Zelda. It's absolutely awesome.
