the best floyd album, and in my opinion, one the best album ever is easily Piper cause it started it all

 

I think the best Pink Floyd album is Dark Side of the Moon. It was the first thing I remember as hearing as music when I was little. I knew some Floyd songs before I knew my ABC's!

 

Animals, hands down.

 

id say animals is by far my favorite waters album, just really well polished and put together

 

I think Animals is gaining on Wish You Were Here as my favourite Floyd album, it sounds better every time I listen to it. Both albums are immense lyrically and musically but I think Animals has a more balanced feel to it.I don't know why but Shine On (part two) feels sort out of place, not a great note to end on imo. I think if the Shine On's were reversed (part one at the end) it would feel more balnced. But whatever, I'm just nitpicking.

 

Saucerful of Secrets then Piper at The Gates of dawn, can't be arsed with them after that
