so how exactly do u become a body piercer? lol and how the hell can i persuade my parents to let me get my lip pierced? im havin a hard time here so any help wud be appreciated cheers
Body piercers generally form a relationship with one shop, show the shop they are responsible/interested. Eventually, you'll get offered an apprenticeship. After a certain amount of time, you can start piercing on your own. There is no one "piercer's college" although Fakir Musafar and some others put on very good clinics. It also helps to have some medical training. Getting your EMT certs would be good. As far as convincing parents goes, keep your grades up, be responsible, polite and an all around productive person. Give them well though out reasons why you should be allowed to have it done. This is your best bet, but ultimately, if they say "no" its only two more years. Peace

how serious are your parents though? My mom tried telling me that about tats and piercings, but i still have all of the above, and never got grief for it. I got my lip pierced and my mom hates it, but she never says anything about it. Just do it, and if they really are going to kick you out. Then get rid of it and wait a couple years.
well i have a really good relationship with my tattooist and my peircer ...i am an apprentichip from both of these guys.... its really awesome because you learn alot...make friends thats all u ned to doP
