can someone explain how to extract all the other chemicals out of starter fluid to just get ethyl ether? thanks much
shaking it with water won't work... & spraying it on a tube & catching the stuff that runs down to the bottom won't work.. and pouring it through a loaf of white bread won't work... a very precise fractional distillation set-up might work (avoid open flames & sparks, mmkay?) but if you had a set-up like that you could prolly just buy the pure diethyl ether from the lab supply guy... which is what you ought to do anyways, 'cause anything else is generally gonna leave you with plenty of hexane or heptane in with your eather car-starting fluid, & you might as well huff gasoline or naphtha as huff hexane, mmmm?
alright thanks man so how does everyone else get there ether..other than orderin it or some shit like that..
yeah...well i got a buddy that can get some from a tool and die shop..i just gotta wait a while..thanks for the input
