D.O.A. did a lot of cover songs including Bad Moon Rising by CCR, Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who and Where Evil Grows by Terry Jacks. There's also a band who did a cover version of The Dead Kennedy's' Jock O' Rama, but I can't remember their name.
the dead kennedys "viva las vegas"- wait, did you men punk bands that covered other songs, or bands that have covered punk songs? for punk song cover, i like sublimes cover of "we're only gonna die for our own ignorance'
the Minutemen did alot of fun punk covers, and all about one minute apiece. I distinctly recall their version of Aint Talkin Bout Love.
They are a bit "new punk" but MXPX's version of Blue moon i've always liked. And the Less Than Jake covers of ALL the Greese musical songs ESPECIALLY "we go together like wap bop alubap a wap bam bo!!"
A punk band doing a punk cover. A Canadianized version of DK's Jock O' Rama by Politikill Incorrect. Very Well Done.
yeah.. I loooove that cd.. And pennywise covered hey ya from outkast on their last tour.. that was soooo cool..
