Yeah, I realized that I talk about making stuff but never actually take pictures of the things I make to show you guys. So, yes, the other day I made this super spinny skirt (120 inch bottom hem!) and I really loved it, so I thought it'd be the perfect thing to introduce my style with! I don't know if I like the silver-y "imagine" on it, though... What do you all think?
Wow! That is one *awesome* skirt!!! I think the "Imagine" gives it some spunk/character! Very groovy indeed!
I like it. There's nothing wrong with the imagine. I have a couple of questions. What is the material? Is that denim? The standing shot it even looks like there is something that holds it out at the hem. Are you wearing a crinoline or is there some sort of thing to hold the hem out?
Nope, it's just a cotton/poly quilting fabric stuff. Nothing holds the hem out. The skirt just stays kinda puffy no matter what I do--I guess coz it's so big? And to the people that asked about the "imagine..." It's actually just fabric marker (sshhhh don't tell)! I was lazy and didn't feel like spending a month hand embroidering it on there, sooo... Yes. $3 at Hobby Lobby, and it's my new best friend! Grr.. And FunkyPhresh... A friend of mine bid on the Rasta skirt/apron thing for a birthday present for me, and now he's been outbid. *sad face* Hmmm... I'm gonna go bid again myself and have him pay for it! Muaha!
