Making tie dye shirts

    hey, i've been trying to find out how to make tie dye shirts i have a general idea but i'm not 100% sure how to make one, could someone tell me a good site that does it step by step? or explain it to me

    First, THANK YOU for spelling it correctly! tie dye to tie and then dye.
    not "tye dye."
    secondly, here are dm's somewhat helpful somewhat crabby tips.
    Use cotton, rayon, silk or hemp.
    Skip black if you are using silk as it will break (down into component colurs) funny.
    You'd need to buy Silk black from Dharma Trading or Pro Chemical and Dye.
    Rit is not your friend. Ever.
    Your first shirt will look good until you make your second and see improvement.
    fold sharply if you want lines. Awesome folding will salvage a shoddy dyeing job.
