I've been listening to my metal collection non-stop for the last coupe of days...

I was listening to my Helloween albums... now i'm onto lyric-less, but extremely instrumentaly talented Iron Maiden.

Ay, came back from a restaurant now for some Liquid Tension Experiment.

 

Ive heard of, but not listened to LTE.

 

It's amazing.

Just take Dream Theatre, with on vocals, but twice the playing ability.

 

ahh. upon further research, they seem to be affiliated with Dream Theater. They are definately worth checking out then.. ill get back to ya when I formulate an opinion

 

They are probebly the best instrumental artist i've heard in my life.

 

Wow., I got to hear the first little bit of "Acid Rain" by LTE. It sounds alot like Dream theater, only more articulate. I recommend you check out Michael Angelo Batio. He is even faster than Yngvie Malmsteen.



Ive seen videos where he plays all four guitars at once, but I think thats all for show. Download a couple of his songs with solos in them and you can feel the wrath of michael angelo batio. Oh yeah, He was in a band called Nitro and they have a song called "freight train". You should check that one out too.
