does anyone else know this amazing "secret" progressive rock band from the 60's 70's, they have just released their first album for 28 years, and it is: - totally mad - totally theatrical - amazing i think they rock, they are one of my favouritest bands! you can hear some stuff on www.vandergraafgenerator.net VDGG never made it into the prog rock juggernaut thing like Pink Floyd or Genesis, cos their music was too experimental. it deserves a listen though. raaa! They are my fav prog band, I used to listen at them since I was child. I even prefer them to Pink Floyd. Peter Hammil is a real genius no less of Sid Barret or Peter Gabriel. And this is my msg for those who don't know them: If you have to buy a CD well buy a VDGG Cd, you won't regret.
I read a review today of their new lp... really gave it the thumbs up... will keep an eye out for it... Fly...
