I was watching the kids in pre-k, they can be scary but cute. They have their food on a tray and they hustle across the cafeteria to their table holding their trays almost vertical. I hold my breath. Newton’s law of gravity says that the food should fall off, but it doesn’t. Newton’s law makes no allowance for the guardian angels of these little people. There was one little girl in particular. She was by far the smallest, about knee-high to a grasshopper. She always drank her chocolate milk first. Several times, I watched her open the container herself; it was a struggle, but she managed. That is, unless there was a boy sitting next to her; then she would always ask him to open it for her. She rolled her big blue eyes at the boy and he grinned and showed how much of a man he was. As a reward, she talked his ear off throughout the entire meal. She not even in kindergarten, just pre-k; how did she learn to manipulate boys at such an early age?
Moms instinctually teach them from infancy to manipulate, while us poor men are taught to be ferocious warriors.
My Mom only taught me to manipulate milk cartons and to be a ferocious ear. but she did get me a complete star wars figure collection. cant knock that.
