I love Canned Heat!!!

Their early stuff... I haven't heard any of their more recent recordings. But listening to "Fried Hockey Boogie", "On the Road Again", and "Boogie Music" just makes you want to get up and dance.

I even named my dog after a Canned Heat tune... "Amphetamine Annie".

 

canned heat is great, too bad i cant find any cds around here... cause 'up in the country' has been stuck in my head for days

I like very much "Boogie Music" 2 with "Evil Woman" both in their 2nd album ...but i like them even more in the early 70's.

 

Yep "Boogie Music" is an excellent song

If no-one's heard "Time Was", go out and get it.
