I was selling at a craft show this weekend and meet a South American silversmith. He spoke broken english but was understandable. He saw me wire wrapping some dichroic glass and he asked me if I knew how to make a marijuana leaf out of wire. I told him no. He asked me if I would like to learn. He showed me how to make it and it's the wildest thing I have ever seen... let alone make now. I sold several at the craft show alone. I wanted to show off my new found passion! I will take orders but have to be emailed. I can't say the price on here but it's not that much for something so unique. I searched on the internet and found nothing even close to what I do. ya know, i was thinking the same thing. this is a really supportive forum..where people share their art and give props in return to others..it makes me feel weird when i click on posts to check out the wares (mainly wire wrapped goods for some reason) and it is nothing more than a sales pitch. i have never seen a post from any of these fellows giving props to the other folks here on this forum. rude, rude, rude.
natty does....but he also keeps his wraps in one thread and isn't doing a huge sales pitch regularly. but yeah..I've seen this alot in this forum and sometimes the art one as well. There is a difference to me when the sisters are showing their newest creations, yeah, they are for sale but its not about making a sales pitch, and y'all look and respond it each other as well. I feel like thats more of an idea sharing. This is nothing but one sales pitch after another after another, without responding to any thread unless theres a sales pitch included in it, lmao~*(This guy even made a sales pitch thread in love and sex forum some time back before xmas.)
