Cake in my dreads!!

    Hay...Last night we got in a fight with butter cream cake:p . We all hosed down afterwords and it was soo hard to get outa my hair but I did it the best I could and stayed damp with cake in my hair for the rest of the night.When iI got home I washed it for a LOOONg time trying to get the cake out.....well, this morning it stinks like rotten milk its so gross!!! I hear of sum people cutting out theyre dreads because they start to stink. Well, ive had mine for almost a year and they havent stunk untill now and i reeeeally dont want to cut them out. pleeease tell me if u have any advice.

    try using really, REALLY hot water. and squeeze the hell outta them as you wash. you could also try boiling some water and then dipping each individual dread in it.

    soak the dreads that have cake in them with vinegar!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i got into and ice cream fight with my lil sister and i used vinegar and it works like a charm!

    cut em' out




    just kiddin....

    wash em real good and rinse em for a super long time under high pressure water

    Yes, I'd suggest vinegar as well. It rinses hair really well and it's easier to get the smell out than cake.
