Led Zeppelin

...what is it with these people who have some kind of hatred for Led Zep?!

I can understand epople saying they dont like them...but when people are accusing them of being "all posing and no good music" its fucked up!

Led Zeppelin are just simply amazing, and I can understand why some people do not like em, but they are NOT all image...Robert Plant really does feel for the music, Page REALLY loves playing guitar, and is very VERY talented at it!

I cant understand this "all posers no good music" attitude...

I'm the biggest Zeppelin fan you'll find but I still understand that not everyone will love them... and they will even grate on some people... It's just the way it is..

Why does it matter what others think anyway? I mean, you don't need any justification for personal taste..

uh, they kinda stopped playing after the drummer, john bonham, died. that was about twenty years ago. page and plant do shows sometimes, but its pretty rare. guess you're outta luck.

 

I was actually reffering to the people who say they don't like led zeppelin. They are Gay, not the band themselves.

better than the stones, floyd, acdc, beatles, and the doors
and out of those bands the only one that compares are the beatles.

Screw the resistance, guys. Everyone who likes to talk shit about Zep obviously has no speck of knowledge of them anyway. It's their own ignorance talking. Really makes me sad that some of those people have such negative energy toward Led Zeppelin when they could spend just as much time fawning and spewing over their favorite bands. I mean, come on, get real!

 

~*zep is my heart man, my HEART ~ i think that it was*stairway* that killed the joy that is zep for a whack of people ~ it is the most well know zep song! remember *waynes world* haha NO STAIRWAY ALLOWED haha that was funny stuff ~ but that one epic song has really shaped a lot of squares opinions on the rest of the music (if they have bothered listening) ~ but... alas... there is no accounting for some peoples tastes!*~

 

I wish I had been born 20 years sooner. Then I would have got to see Zeppelin in concert. But no, I was born less than a year after Bonham died. So I too am screwed for ever seeing anything live. I have all the DVD's and CD's but I would kill to see them live.

As for the people who hate Zeppelin, Are you DEAF????? Zeppelin was and still is one of the most influential bands of all times. All your little gay ass shit you listen to today was in one way or another influenced by Led Zeppelin. For anyone to say they suck is terrible. I understand some people just wouldn't care for them, and thats fine. EVeryone has different tastes. But to say they suck??? They don't suck. There isn't a song they ever did that "sucked" How many other bands can you say that about. Go out and buy a new CD by any band, and I'll be you can find a song on thier cd they added just to fill it up. That sucks.

 

It's funny how people contradict themselves when they get overly emotional, defending their music... lol

Being baffled when other people don't like what they like.... Realising that everyone has their own tastes and preferences... Slagging off other people's tastes ... Declaring that, even if you don't like something, you must at least acknowledge it's greatness on a broader scale..

It's all swings and roundabouts really.. People will like what they like and articulate how they feel in whatever way they please at the end of the day..

Zeppelin is was and will always be, one of the greatest bands that ever were. There wasn't anyone like them until they came, and there's been no one like them since. Everybody takes from them though. They were the biggest inspiration on rock & roll, after The Beatles broke up and The Rolling Stones lost their touch.

Anybody who disagrees with me and every other Zeppelin fan in the world, "take your life, please!"

 

Zep were always, imho, a very boring band.
