My name is deb, although I use my given name debra most often, I just prefer deb. I am originally from Kentucky, and migrated to Indiana in 2000. I am a sort of odd ball amongst my friends, I love wearing natural clothing and shoes (can't peel me out of my birks.. even in winter- that's what socks are for!), and would prefer to be a vegetarian, although my husband dislikes veggies and my soil is horrible for planting edible fruits, and the stuff from the grocery is just horrible, and the organic section is non existant. I tend to go from one style to the next, you name it, I've tried it, and have always came back to here... I'd prefer to love the world than damage it. I was lucky enough to be brought here, let me try and make a difference. I am a student at Ball State University, and I live off campus with my husband and one of my children(the other one lives with my mother). We have a cat and a dog, and also a snake. I love to listen to music, all kinds, but mostly hard and alternative rock. My favorite bands are Evanescence and TOOL, and I do believe I am the only fan that calls themself a "hippie". I use the term loosely because I dislike labels, they attempt to put you in a box with someone else, and I don't think I qualify. I stumbled upon the site by doing a google search, and I have fallen in love with it. I have pictures and the like, and one day soon I will share with you all. As I said, I am not always in the hippie "mood" if you will, I tend to wear what the world tells me at any given time. But as I say, I shall show you all one day soon.
