hi everyone, some weeks ago, I had a dream that still makes me think, even though Its probably quite clear what it means, I would like to have some more interpretations:

I was pregnant, and I gave birth to a pearl.

so I looked it up, when I came across a dream "dictionary", butI couldn't find anything. So I just wanted to ask whether you guys have any more suggestions.

    Hi Kastenfrosch

let me share a thought but please keep in mind you are the one who knows better always and it is inside your own guts feeling - as it is you who creates the dream and all questions wrapped around, much like a grain of sand, or moment of truth that seems hidden but just gives the impulse of change.

The pregnancy is about changes that you are preparing yourself for and are already going through in cycles that come and go like tides, and moons dark and full. The pearl is about the alchemy of when all the big and small things of profane life turn to show a deeper mystery ... so that like gazing into a mirror you become aware of the wonder and beauty that is yours. And like growing inside your own shell, or womb you now slowly open to set yourself free, entering a new stage of life while you take all the time you need.

And so you hold the mystery and hold the answers, too, knowing it has always been this way. The answers seem as mysterious yet they are just in the way of how you gaze. The dream is a place of purity and inner truth where the images change even as you create them as plain and clear. What will you do with it sometimes this is what gives the dreams their real meaning.

Ok this is from my view but I hope this makes sense ... maybe others want to comment as well. Thank you for cóming and sharing your dream ... have a good day !

I believe there is an ancient gnostic, perhaps Ethiopic, text called the "Birth of the Pearl". It had something to do with the origins of the universe or something along those lines. I will google it and let you know.

I am sorry. The text was a poem called "Hymn of the Pearl". In anycase, the pearl both in this story and in other stories since ancient times has often represented wisdom.

I agree with Moving Cloud in that only you can truly interpret your own dreams, there is no calculator that can grasp your life events. Yet, we can show that our minds often use specific symbols to mean similar things in our dreams.

So now it has been a couple of months, anything come from it? Have you thought about it much?
