    Hey everrrryyyonnneee!!
I'm headin to Harlow, England for aboutttt 6 weeks, from June 28th til August 8th. Just wondering if you have any ideas of things I should check out, that aren't already in every damn tourist mag I pick up :p And if any of you hip folk wanna hook up for a pint and a j, that'd be cool too! Just let me know! :)
    Also...
Does anyone know how much it costs to get the train from Harlow, or London or wherever in England, to Paris and Amsterdam? Just a ticket... because I can only find those passes that are good for a month's travel and stuff like that, but are expensive. Help! haha. Thanks, and take care!
I can't wait to party it up with all of you this summer!!
    Woooooohoooooooooo :D
Lotsa love and smiles from Nita! Muahhhhhh!

Getting a train into Europe will cost you a fortune

However, Harlow is reasonably close to Stanstead and Luton Airports ... check out www.easyjet.com for what are probably the cheapest flights to Europe.

yeh definately fly, usually cheaper and also quicker.

Saying that, however, if you're under 26 you get cheap rates on Eurostar so it might be worth checking that out. http://www.eurostar.com/dctm/jsp/services/detail_fares.jsp?page=fares&id=09001a59801a4156&country=UK&lang=UK

Things to do, well you'll be near London so that means you've got all London to explore. Depends what you want to do really, tourist attractions, gigs, clubs etc. If you want any good pointers mail me.

You'll be here right in the middle of the edinburgh festival (the worlds biggest arts festival) so id advise getting a train up and checking that out.

If you're wanting to get around the UK cheaply try the megabus.com website... you may have to get a train / bus to the main pickup points but for example London to Glasgow can cost you as little as £3.00 return!

Good luck and have lots of fun!

By the way, the people on here tend to put on camping gatherings throughout summer (and winter cos we're nutters!) so keep an eye out on the boards for any that crop up while you're here :)

    Awesome!! Thanks guys...
Ya, I was in town today (I live in the sticks), and was talking with a travel agent... they told me about easyjet as well as ryanair, so I'm probably going to book flights with them. I was also thinking of heading to the Cambridge Folk Fest... is that usually a good time? Oh, and what's the Glade Festival all about?
But I will for sure keep in touch on the forums to see what pops up... I'd like to do some camping with all you "nutters" as well!! :p
Chris, when is the Edinburgh festival? I just finished a Scottish Lit. course, so I thought it would be fun to check out what all these crazy Scottish writers were raving about :p haha...
OK take care everyone, and c-you soon :)
    Peace and Smiles
    Love Nita
