i went to this site http://www2.cruzio.com/~sahadev/hippy.html and found this hippie quiz and one of the questions was "do u know what bag you're in?" what does it mean by that?

You can't just ask like that though, you've got to be ' What's you're bag maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan?'

 

You know, I really pepper my convos with "dude" instead of "man". Is dude considered some other label, like surfer? I always get told to stop "talking like a hippy" when I start saying dude though LOL. Of course the people who say that NEVER engage me in any political convos LOL.


Hey, didn't Austin Powers say that the penis enlarger "wasn't his bag?" I think he did...you know when he was still trying to say it wasn't his lol.

I say both "man" and "dude" a lot and my friends absolutely hate it, but if i try to stop saying it, it's almost impossible! it's really hard because i usually end all of my sentences (or at least most of them) with it and not saying it is like not finishing my sentence. it's jsut weird, man.

its the vocabulary of our forefathers man...bag means what you dig and what you're into ya dig...you should probably study up the native tongue

 

dude and man are both considered words of hippie language...though you can say whatever you want...there are many people who say dude that arent hippies or surfers...thats whats so wrong with label...coz you cant label someone because of their use in slang
