Okay people, I need some input here.....

I have been looking for a job for two weeks, I just finished taking a paralegal course.
Yesterday, I went to an interview at a Family Law attorney and they offered me a job as secretary, mind you tho, they still run in DOS mode, their computers are not updated and there are no benefits. I leave that interview and the temp agency that I had gone to had left a message on my cell, wanting me to go and interview at a very well known law firm, as a mail clerk, the wages are both the same except the well known law firm has benefits, retirement, blah blah blah.. of course at the law firm (they do civil law) it would be a temp to hire.

I am really rather torn on what to do. Mail clerk is not what i really want to do, but would do it to get my foot in the door. I will ask during the interview if I am able to advance within the law firm.

What do you guys think I should do?

Yes, mail clerk. It has benefits, so in the big picture, the pay is more.

But here is where my dilema stands, I spent 9 months going to school, plus spent a lot of money on the schooling, I dont want to be a mail clerk forever especially with my education and such.

I guess it will depend on if they have advancments within their office, and how long it takes before you are considered for that advancement. I also, don't want to be labled a "mail clerk" and only a "mail clerk". does that make sense. I mean there is nothing wrong with being a mail clerk by any means, and as long as there is a good chance for advancement, its all good.
