I had such a freaky dream last night that has really creeped me out. I dreamt that I put my next door neighbour on a bonfire in my back garden and just let her burn, and went inside whilst she was burning so i couldn't hear her screaming. Then came back out and threw her ashes about. I didn't even feel guilty,I was just worried about getting caught. Now i feel really bad, I'm not violent and I've got nothing against my next door neighbour. Any ideas about this dream? I've been having quite a few violent dreams and horrible dreams lately.
I'd ask what things you're watching on telly before bed at night? What role your neighbour has had in your life lately? A fight or nothing at all? (no offence) but if you were a gay i'd say you had a crush on her. If you're a hetero forget that option. Listen, fire doesn't usually signal a violent tendancy, it usually means passion and i don't mean in a sexual way either. Is there something that she has pissed you off about? Maybe some small thing that on the surface isn't a big deal but in out dreams, our real feelings tend to come out.
no not gay and its wierd because she has no role in my life, i feel indifferent towards her really and havent seen her for ages, so its wierd.hmm...
Maybe it's what she represents in an abstract way. Is she the same age as your mother? Look like your sister? In some way does she remind you of anyone in your life that you have been having problems with, even in a small way? If you can't think of any hassles in your life with anyone, any problem with her however small, then i wouldn't worry. It has no meaning which is common. Some times we just think things for the sake of it and there is no reason. On the extreme, some people have rape dreams. Even though very disturbing they have never been raped, raped anyone or would do so. The mind is an amazing thing that we can only begin to understand. I wouldn't worry though
It sounds to me like you will have a problem or trial coming up in your life and you must be careful in dealing with it. You may run into a financial embarrasment due to your own carelessness. I looked at this dream site and it said "To kill a defenseless person; failure in an endeavor" Fire is said to be "a deeply spiritual symbol that represents transformation and enlightenment or danger, anger, passion, pain or fear" It asks, " are you currently engaging in negative behaiours or making wrong or destructive choices" And, "our unconscious mind my be warning us and at the same time encouraging us to alter things in our lives that might be hurtful or dangerous"
It sounds like you're dealing with some sort of tension and that you may be experiencing frustration.
That's true, not everyone does remember them and sometimes that's a good thing too They say our dreams, is our subconscious coming to life. For some reason we can't deal with these things on a conscious level so it's saved for sleep. Other dreams are simply things we have seen in the day that don't mean anything but have just stuck in your head. Like, scenes from a great footy match, hot girl or guy at the pub. I remember i had this dream once that centred around a vivid red raincoat. No meaning other than that's one of my fave colours and i saw it the day before, though i don't remember it, it stuck in my head. Our brain is an amazing thing. They say we keep all the information we ever see and hear in our minds but it's the ability to recall it that's the problem. Can you imagine all the info in there? If only it surfaced for exam time hey?
