Why..??

Why do threads about bands always turn out this way:
I like them
I hate them,
you're stupid I love them
no you're stupid cause they're stupid

 

because not every one likes the same bands.

 

Thats life.

 

It sure would suck if everyone loved the same crappy bands.

 

Music discussions tend to bring out the worst in people. Why? I don't know. But just look at some of the discussion boards of official band sites. Yikes! I try to keep right out of those.

 

They aren't nearly as bad as political and religious discussions.

 

sometimes they're good. music is a big thing with music people you know

 

No one ever comes with good arguments why a band is good or bad.. I would like to see some more substantial discussions about music..

 

Arguments about if and why music is good or bad are often very subjective and the other party can simply disagree without being wrong.

 

Even subjective discussions can be more substantial..
