I think selling people LSA, no matter what you call it is wrong! I haven't attempted to buy any acid in a really long time. Not even worth it, especially here near the east coast.

What do you think Micheal? wHy is acid so scarce? I have a theory that once MDMA blew up back in the 80's, the production slowed down. Then, not too long ago, some big labs were busted. So people got scared, had to make something else, and found that they could not only make it easier and cheaper than acid, but sell it for a hell of a lot more.

People are NOT selling LSA as LSD...they're two completely different compounds; eating 2 hits of LSA blotter would NOT give you effects anywhere close to LSD. Just because you can't find legitimate LSD, Michael, does not mean it doesn't exist.

Another thing to note is that LSD's popularity maybe down due to the current surge in the popularity and availability of designer drugs.

 

LSD isn't popular for a couple reasons. One is greed which actually is the partial basis for the other two I will mention. The second is the one mentioned above, it's not cool anymore to drop acid. E is the thing to do. The third is crappy hits/paper as a medium. Most hits you get on the street are like 50-100 mcg, so in some cases you need to eat a ten strip to get 500 micrograms in you. When people eat one tab and they're like "acid is weak it didn't do shit," they start to spread the word. The decline in purity along with the rise in MDMA's popularity just kind of killed LSD. Oh and don't forget the .gov's bullshit.

 

I tend to very much disagree, eat some LSD. There have been many cases of people selling LSA as LSD and people don't trip they way they should. I have fellen victim once, about a year and a half ago. I have found some decent since then, but that's not the point.

The point is, as 2cesarwild said, greed. Cheaper and easier to make LSA (not by much but enough to make a huge profit). How can you tell the difference when you're at a concert and you see a dude with a 10 strip in his hand? What are you going to do to define which compound it is when some guy is chilling at a bar? It's risk and chance and those chances are diminshing year.

I think the best trip I ever had was last summer. It was Memorial Day weekend and I had gotten tickets to moe.'s kick-off-the-summer-festival Summer Camp (which I have tix to again this year!!!) It was a beautiful warm day, with groovy people every where. While I prefer an acid trip, I was doubtful to blow my money on some probably shitty blotter. So this dude walking around calls out "kisses". I had only heard one other person call trips "kisses" and he was this really old acid crazed guy. I asked him what he had. He said mescaline. Synthetic mescaline. He asked me if I was going to be safe for the next 12 hours. I said yeah. I took the capsule and waited for about an hour and a half before I felt something. And all I felt was nausea!

Pissed, I start walking around. It came on so slowly I almost didn't notice. But then as I realized things just looked too strange to be real, my whole world turned upside down.

I'm blabbering so I won't get into all the crazy details of the trip was it was mind blowing. I had never felt so beautiful.

at a festival like that, I take my chances. I normally don't eat anything until I know just what is is and where it's been. But at places like that, you gotta take a risk, you know?

 

also, I happen to enjoy rolling.It's not as good as tripping, but it's still an amazing feeling!

I've never come across anyone selling LSA as LSD, and there really wouldn't be any point in even synthing LSA; it'd be much cheaper to just lay pre-manufactured Alpha-O or Foxy on blotter, which is much more cost effective than buying a ton of HBWR seeds, the ethanol and the ether, and THEN taking the time to synth such a crappy compound in your basement.

Bottom line, until someone can show me an article or some lab results proving that LSA is so often sold as LSD, I'll refuse to believe the non-sense.
