Ever seen the movie "Lilja forever"? While it's no secret that over 500,000 women are sold every year as sex slaves from eastern europe worldwide to asia, middle east, western europe and the states- You should be aware that American girls are not immune to it either. I used to live in Saudi Arabia for 2 years. Anybody who was invited there to work could never leave without their sponsors permission. You could be stuck there for life if your sponsor wanted it so. It was common knowledge that many of the maids were raped and a girls testimony did not apply in court. In any case, you tend to to see a lot of arabic speaking white girls (red hair, blonde hair etc.) who are obviously mixed race and a product of their mothers being sex slaves in harems. Yes harems do exisit in these countries. Helping american captives is a low priority for the u.s government cuz they want to have good relations and keep the oil flow going. There have been many cases of american wives married to saudis who were trying to leave, and were denied help by u.s embassy. How is this relavent to american girls- I once drove in front of a compound (harem) where there were a few hundred girls going in and out of the place. Many of them were east european, but then there were quite a few who looked and spoke in an american accent. I later heard stories from people that many were tricked by their greedy boyfriends into lucrative offers and some were even kidnapped by cargo ships in the coastal areas on the east and west coast cuz many places are unguarded.
Hmm.. There was this girl in our high school who went for a beauty compeition in Italy. Don't know what happened to her but her parents are still looking for her. I once watched this scary documentry about pedophiles in the fashion business who blackmailed 15 year old girls to put out to them or else their career is smashed- and how they were offered to asians, europeans etc and forced to take part in porn films. Some of them vanished. Nobody knows where.
Much of the world has forsaken the feminine; forgotten our divinity. It is hard to comprehend your words because it seems so far from home. To let the imagination drift into the experience of these girls is far too sickening for most. I find it difficult and sorrowful, myself. To live one's life creating peace within oneself is to be one link in the human web that isn't creating tension, and perhaps giving some slack.
Lilja forever is by far one of the mst heartbreaking movies I've seen, mainly because it's so true. I'm from Finland and, while it's not a massive problem there, you can still often read from the newspapers how East European (mainly Russian) women (and even young girls!) have either been kidnapped or bribed to the country and are used as sex slaves by men. It's just so horrible and disgusting, and it makes me sick to my stomach.
Its taboo to talk about Americans being in on white slavery, however it is very real. America is just as guilty as everyone else. The government... and the corporations that run it... Can smell money and they know how much money their is in the sex trade. So America is in on it too..... The two things that started booming enormously after Afghanistan was "liberated" was Opium trade and Prostitution..... Hmm.... connection?
So, is the point here to discuss sexual slavery or just the enslavement of white people? Yes, American women are vulnerable in other parts of the world, particularly those where white women are exotic, just like women of other nationalities are vulnerable in the US, particularly those who are deemed exotic. Assuming the real point here is sexual slavery, most of the cases I've heard of in the US where women were held against their will as sexual slaves were Hispanic or Asian, often illegal immigrants brought over by people who promised high wages at legal employment. Sure, some Americans may be in on the trade in white girls to other parts of the world, but some Americans set up brothels of non-white women or even provide children for use in the US.
I was in London when I was 13 and this man from Lebanon started talking to me and when i walked away he grabbed me and told me i could make a lot of money. its funny because my mom warned me that this went on and not to speak to arab men prior to my trip ( i met family over there).
Well I'm making a point that American girls and West European girls are not immune/legally protected to kidnappings and tricks by arabs/non-arabs or people you trust, and that once you are caught, you are caught for life. The embassy and government will never help you. White slavery is a big issue cuz up to now we never really had to worry about this sort of thing affecting us personally or could ever imagine that it even happens. We are even more in demand than east european girls in the market according to what I hear. Did you see Moore's 9/11 film - where the coast in Oregon was virtually unprotected? One really wonders where scores (thousands) of those missing girls have ended up.. this is not some small thing, I'm quite sure it affects us (Americans and West Europeans) on a massive scale. There were attempts by people to bring up the story in the media of stranded american wives but it was quickly downplayed. Our status in this world is like wild cattle ever exposed to danger of getting caught and sold to a life of destitution.
I checked the net and read that east european girls are sold at 1000$ a head at starting prices. Hmm... I wonder how much I'm worth. LOL. No seriously, it's horrible. And as usual, there's nothing we can do about it. We'll have to accept it. It's a mans world basically.
did anyone see this tragic story? traffiking in human beings is pretty universal: http://www.thisislondon.com/news/articles/18601085?source=Evening%20Standard Fears of trade in children as 300 boys disappear By Alistair Foster, Evening Standard 13 May 2005 Scotland Yard today revealed it has been unable to trace all but two of 300 black boys aged four to seven reported missing from school in a three-month period. Child welfare experts say the number highlights the scale of the trade in children brought to Britain as domestic servants and covers for benefit fraud. The figure emerged through the murder inquiry following the discovery of a child's torso in the Thames in September 2001. The identity of the victim, named "Adam" by police, is not known but his background was traced to Nigeria, it is believed he died in a ritual sacrifice. Detectives asked each London local education authority to give them details of black boys aged four to seven reported missing from school between July and September 2001. It emerged 300 had vanished, 299 from Africa and one from the Caribbean. Police only managed to trace two children. The true figure for missing boys and girls is feared to be several thousand a year. Detective Chief Inspector Will O'Reilly, leading the hunt for Adam's killers, said: "It is a large figure, far more than we anticipated. 300 young boys didn't return to school and are really lost in the system." Police visited the children's addresses, but in most cases were told the boys had returned to Africa. Inquiries undertaken via Interpol in the boys' home countries failed to trace them. Journalist Yinka Sunmonu, an expert in the issue, told the BBC's Today programme: "Children are being trafficked. There is domestic slavery, physical abuse, sexual abuse. Children are ... here one day and gone the next." The Met's recent Paladin child investigation found hundreds of unaccompanied children arrive in Britain each month.
