I was behind the apartments across the street from my school one day enjoying a nice joint with some of my friends ater a long and boring day of school, and it dawned on me that what we were doing was considered morally wrong by society. If we had walked around the corner of the apartments and a cop car had been waiting, we would have all been handcuffed and put into the car and charged with posession of an illegal substance. I just think it's insane that enjoying a plant that was put here by whoever/whatever created our planet is considered so morally wrong and is even illegal. It honestly made me kind of pissed a the majority of society. It's not like we were harming anyone, besides our own lungs, and that's our fucking business anyways. Sorry, I just felt like sharing that with you guys. One of my friends recently got caught smoking a joint in the gym of our school and at the moment he's sitting in a mental asylum(for other reasons than just the pot, but that was a factor in it also). I can hardly concieve how society can be so ignorant to the fact that all he was doing was having a good time and trying to enhance his day/perception of life/whatever the hell else he felt needed enhancing...well, I'm done...

i know those fuckers...oh well....just keep doing what u do...it is funny tho when yer in a car or whatever smoking and a police passes by and doesnt notice..just flip em off or whatever haha. but seriously...i hate how its a fucking plant that everyone makes a big deal out of and its like.its a part of the earth, you know? its like those damn beach laws...that u cant have alchol on the beach or camp out or some beaches even have 'closing' hrs and u have to pay to go into some beaches...thats so stupid, its like its nature...ok now im talking about beaches but yea i know what u mean man...its been like this for a while now...
Yeah man I think about this sort of thing all the time. It is really messed up. And we have to pay for things that should be rightfully ours for free, and the politicians are so full of pride and tradition that they have one of God's creations as illegal to put in ur body. Its not illegal if you want to go get some hemlock and drink it. No by all means do so, or go get blind ass drunk and get put in the hospital for alcohol poisning, but you can NOT mellow out to a beautiful green plant that does more good than harm.

I t'ink you are confusing 'morally wrong' with 'legally wrong'. In many instances what is legal is directly opposed to what is moral. In nazi germany killing a jew was legal, but immoral. Hiding a jew was illegal, but morally correct. I guess we just through some freak events wound up with these antiquated drug laws, they'll change though. that's the nice thing about america, we fuck up alot, but atleast we feel bad about it later.

The WOD has conveniently lumped morally and legally together and they've done a good job of it. They've also smeared the hell out of Marijuana with bullshit 'facts' and continue to do so. In alot of peoples heads it's morally wrong because it's illegal. All you gotta do is wave a flag and sing a song about jeebus and the slobbering masses will line up in lockstep. It's damn frustrating to see that in effect and know for yourself what's really going on. But hang in there, keep yourself informed, and don't let the man get ya down! oh yeah, and even though some folks might be able to get away with smoking just about anywhere and have no qualm with lighting up in front of a cop, ask yourself if you really want to meet bubba in the jail shower room.
it was only illegalized in the first place cuz it cut into the cotton industry. the gov just doesne't like to admit their mistakes.
