Is It Possible To Be Immune To Lsd?

Hah, if you got some cid that was 500 mcg's a 'hit' you'd be having LOTS of fun. Probably need on average like ten hits of today's street blotter to trip that hard. It's cheaper to eat 25 mg's of 2c-e though normally, unless you're flipping sheets and whatnot.

 

ok, this is a long thread, and I have not read it all...but my 2 cents.


SSRI's, and anti-psychotics greatly weaken, even kill trips...so if you are taking either of these, that could be the problem.

Likewise, could the 'cid have been exposed to heat? light? both of which can weaken it...

some white blotter floating around is very crummy, even fake, as it is a copy of some REALLY good white blotter that is floating around.

Ohms/pink elephants are genuinely good stuffs too...

If you have eaten any other psychadelics, more specifically other tryptamines up to a week before eating that lsd, that could weaken the effects as well.

yeah something could have damaged the LSD. 500 mics is probably some of the best blotter you will find. when I was younger hits were ofter cut into qaurters, because of how strong they were. Now on average all I see is like from 70 to maybe 250 mics at best. people are interested more in money these days than spinning people out. I have eaten pink elephants they were mighty strong but they had a scent which scared me away from them. blotter should not smell. Those Ohms you are talking about. I first thought those were created by the government to give people bad trips they were so strong. I also ran into some stuff everyone called the devils asscrack that was very strong as well. All in all the one thing that I do not like about LSD these days is I think most of the street LSD around is contaminated with ISO LSD. U see LSD itself effects 12 different receptor cites in the brain. With this ISO LSD it makes it only active in about 7 or 8 spots, completely changing the feeling. This is only a hunch though. I have not had any tested to check or anything, but alot of people I know refuse to eat the acid at shows and other places these days because it is simply not the same stuff. Not that Iso LSD is bad for you, but it is cheaper and less pure. Could just be us old psychonauts losing our heads. lol I still eat it from one person who I know has real stuff. I truly do think someone is messin with it these days though.

 

I don't wanna sound like an asshole, but you will never find blotter with that much LSD on it. Even Owsley's LSD was like 350 micrograms, and he wasn't dipping sheets. There is a study on erowid that used a bunch of samples of LSD from the early 70s, like 72-74 I think and I think the highest quantity of lsd on paper of any sample that was quantitated was 120 mics.

 

how do you figure I know people that put whole milligrams of DOI on paper

 

u can fit almost 2 milligrams on a hit of paper sorry to inform you that you have been misinformed but i see it all the time and have eaten much of it

 

I didn't say you couldn't fit a couple mg's on paper- no chemist, unless he is your buddy and knows you like it strong, is going to make doses that high. Using paper as a medium is more of a money-maker than anything.

 

yeah it would waste money. All i am saying is you can do it, and I have seen it. I agree not for sale usually , but it does exist

 

Well, no offense to anyone, but I don't get it when people finally get ahold of acid and they take just 1 or 2 hits. We all (I think) know that the acid nowadays is weak. Acid is also not as widely available as in the past. As soon as I get ahold of them, I will gobble down a handful. It won't be a weak-assed hit or two. And I will take it there and then. But that's just me.

 

The problem here is that you may NOT be getting LSD (check crack's thread). If you get, say, 5-Meo-AMT on blotter (2 mg / hit) and eat a ten-strip, you won't walk away from it.

Best bet would be to go ahead and invest in a shit-ton of it whenever you get the chance; start with 2 hits and work your way up.

 

Yea, I usually take 4 or 5 to test out a batch.

 

i was gonna respond the exact same way, as the last 3 times this one kid bought acid its been 5-meo-amt.

 

I have seen DOI on Blotter and that scared me because people would eat like 5 hits that were about 1-1.5 mg of DOI and they would be spun for a good day or more I just test the blotter or liquid or whatever at low low doses and if I am convinced that it is real LSD and nothing else that is when you can catch me spun on 2 or 3 thousand mics.
