if one absolutely must live in GB at least live in one of the following:

London

 

I care not for london. It is pretty groovy, but i quite like living in edinburgh

London is cool if you have a shitload of money and don't mind scumbags on every corner. London is the coolest place but also attracts the most fuckwits.

 

I could give you a list as long as Wales of places that are full of far more idiots and problems, if you know London you know where to go to get the environment you want... it has every culture of the world within it and it has all the problems of the world in varying amounts from one part to the next... you don't have to put up with anything in London if your visiting because there is so much choice.. and this whole rubbish about London being expensive is crap also, if you wanna hangout in the prime tourist spots then obviously it will be expensive, but if you live in the cheaper parts of London then it's not anymore expensive than somewhere else in the country with ths same comparison in facilities and amenities... infact a lot of things are cheaper.

 

Fair enough if that's what you believe. I'm not saying I don't like London, I agree it has by far the most options in the way of lifestyle and culture. At the same time it IS more expensive than pretty much anywhere else in the UK (whichever part you live... If you live in the touristy places then it is hugely more expensive). And I stand by my point about the scummers as well, London is far more violent and generally unfriendly than most cities/towns in the UK. Not saying it isn't a great place to live, just pointing out a few very real flaws. And before you ask, yes I have lived there... And probably will again when I'm older and richer..
