    The final feelings sound familiar.

Remember the clinton n clinton debacles?

I watched the news till about 11pm and said I'm going to bed. I woke up with the feeling that we were doomed. I remembered the next day, it was strange everyone didn't look to happy. I knew I wasn't.

Was a sad day for not only this country, but the entire world and human population. I wanted to kill myself considering I will probaly be drafted in the next few years and hafta die in some foriegn country where the people want stand up and die for their own freedom and expect us too, but then they hate us when we come over there. We are hated either way, well thats enough on that rant-SORRY!

I just went to school as normal....and didn't even realize that I had put on all black...that was all I had that was clean lol...but I thought it fitting really, and saw a lot of it on campus. And a LOT of mopey faces. In my figure class everyone was literally angry, and there were a lot of very passionately angry figures drawn that day.

I have not moped though. I'm just doing my little part, whatever I can do, and waiting to see what these four years bring, and waiting for the next election.

Oh...and hoping no one in office is stupid enough to try and start another war while my hubby is still in the career field he's in....

What a sad, terrible day. I heard the news, and then just sat there for about 30 minutes trying to convince myself it was untrue. Then I started crying. I went to the kitchen and drank a beer, then sat on the living room couch and cried some more. I feel asleep for a few hours, woke up and started to puke. The results of the election literally made me sick. I was sick for 9 days after the election. I had a fever for 4 or those 9 days and diarrhea each of those days. I also coughed up blood, had a runny nose among all kinds of other shit. I missed a few days of work because of this. It was miserable. I may sound dramatic, but I really think if Kerry would have won, I would not have been sick.

It was the happiest political moment in my life since the Republican Revolution of 94. 10 years between a joy of that magnitude only makes it sweeter. The only liberal who had any idea about fighting a war was FDR, so I'll take a Texan over a New England pussyfooter anyday

I remember it like yesterday. It was my first time to vote, and I went to the polls and penciled in Bush and then I went down the list of names, and ended up with a straight republican ticket. Then when I got home, I felt confident that Bush was going to win. So when he did, I rejoiced. Haven't regretted it... haven't looked back. I hope the next president is anti-homo, anti-babykilling, and ultraconservative as well. This is the best thing this country has seen since Ronald Ragan. Thank God John Kerry is still in Massachussets with Ted Kennedy where he belongs.

I wasn't the least bit surprised. I didn't even watch any of it. And when he 'won' I just said "Oh well." I didn't elect him, you didn't elect him, the people who voted for him didn't elect him. He stole it, and therefore, has no authority over us anyway. It wont effect me in any way, he starts a draft, he won't get me, that's for sure. Besdies, he got an awful lot of people pissed during his first term, he'll get a lot more people pissed this term, hell, it might lead the people to make a big step for themselves, and tell the government to fuck off. Viva Revolution!

i pretty much knew the night before, but it wasn't official. I woke up and flipped on the news to see what was going on, and then got really depressed. I just remember having a lot of dark thoughts. I took my dog for a walk to cool off, but it only helped a little. It's hard to stay positive sometimes with that monkey in charge.

Bush is originally from Connecticut. Either way I don't really see how hometowns play a part in competency or the ability to fight a war.

The day Bush won again was a sad day for me indeed. Again, I suspect he cheated once more. There are too many unconscious people in America who don't realize that war and violence never solves anything.

The only thing that shocks me is the amount of people in this thread who were surprised when it happened.I pretty much knew it was going to happen in 2000 when he stole the first election. Then when the news came out about the Diebold voting machines came out, that was it. Some events are just excuses for people to down beers and puff joints and mope around feeling sorry for themselves. Oh, no the Dodgers lost, fuck, hand me a beer!
Besides, we werent ready for a democrat yet. Had Kerry won, many who are working so hard for revolution right now would have sat back and gone 'whew, we made it' while multi-billionare Kerry fucks us over just as bad as Bush but doesnt look us in the face as he does it. Best thing that could happen to the left, another four years of tyrany to bring us together...

Oh wait a minute...that was the grinch
Well...even the grinch would have made a better president. At least the grinch had the heart to give little Cindy Lou Who her Christmas back. GW just keeps killing.
