when it comes to christians? why do people talk so bad about us? i thought this forum was about peace and love

yes i'm christian...although most people on this site might not agree..i tend not to say it much cause i would be attacked for it just like i am on my political outlook...people hate what they don't understand or agree with.

Most people who hammer down on Christians do it because they see that Christianity causes much strife, war, and other apparently non-Christian things. Like the Crusades, for example. Guilty of "thou shalt not kill/murder" anyway you look at it, and hypocracies like that are why many people don't like Christians.

Also because most Christians like to insult you if you don't agree with them.

(Not to bash any Christians, I'm just pointing out that the reason people attack Christians is because Christians usually attack them first)

And the rest of you: Jesus! You all need to chill and drink some wine! It was the blood of Christ after all!

 

Everyday all over the earth 10s of thousands of Christians are helping people to improve their lives in so many ways, yet when people think of Christians the first thing they come up with is the Crusades. Nothing like being current. Most Christians like to insult you if you don't agree with them. I think they call that stero typing. I have been a Christian for 42 years, and I'm sure things like that happen, but I don't think the word, most, really applies. And people who kill in the name of God are not Christians. And I don't care how many crosses they where on their shirts.

 

As long as the differences between us overshadow our love for each other, we together will create conflict.

That is why Jesus turned the other cheek.
