Everything I read was wrong. Everywhere it said to really torch it and inhale deep and fast, so that's what I had been doing. But that's totally wrong advice and it's plastered all over every web site that people refer newbies to. The trick is to pack the bowl (the kind with a top) and hold the flame near, gently charm the smoke out and as soon as you see the thick smoke seep out around the flame, then you inhale, and stop. Hold that, and it will simmer down without burning the rest. I was trying the usual torch it and inhale deep & fast method and not getting anything, then I began to feel a little weird so I knew it was calling me. So I filled the bowl with 15x and did it slowly. I believe that lets it vaporize and then I only have to inhale a tiny bit, rather than have to cram a whole lung-full and attempt to hold it. So I didn't really see much. I mean, I saw shapes and shadows in the dark, but I can see that perfectly sober. The floor almost looked like it had holes but that's just the packaging popcorn strewn out that my cats had played with. I saw a short and wide figure standing in the corner by the door but it didn't move. Once while inhaling, on the 2nd or 3rd bowl, I saw a thick white figure in front of me, like someone wearing a robe but I couldn't tell if it was male or female, it was only just for a brief instant, just long enough for me to cancel out my gut reaction to be afraid and accept it. I tried to do more, but I think she sets limits because I couldn't charm the thick smoke out of her after a while. Still no tear in the fabric of the universe like I've read about, no feelings of melting or anything but what got me started tonight was kind of a weird rubbery feeling in my arms. I wish I could go a lot deeper but I don't expect it to happen. Not unless that AM Wellness makes a 100x. Heh. So the bad news there is there's probably only 1/4th of the 15x left for next time. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that I had my headphones on while doing this. Now, it was very low, and I have good hearing so most people wouldn't hear it at all at that volume. But man, it sounded so horribly out of tune, something to the effect of someone playing a horn instrument and someone pissing in the other end. hahaha. Is that how normal music sounds to salvia? So is the salvia music I hear about something that would be hard on our ears while sober? :D

Well, congratulations on your experience! =) I am not sure I agree with you on the right way to smoke it (considering I used to smoke it somewhat like you, and only ever got the effects you achieved, but whenever I smoke it like I mean it, I get much more powerful experiences), but regardless ... I hope you someday get a chance to meet the entity you saw before you. =)

As for the music ... I am also not a fan of music while under Lady Sally's influence, but it doesn't often bother me too much. I've had two profound experiences while listening to music:

The first one was to a song with a very powerful and constant bassline. I was laying on the floor on my back, and I had the feeling of floating in the dead sea (or a sea that has a ton of salt in it regardless). Either way, every time the bassline struck, it felt like I was being inverse-blasted by a cannon. Like I was being shot by a cannonball and driven 80 feet down into the water, but I wasn't being pushed down, I was being pulled down (with the force of a cannon). If that doesn't make any sense to you, don't worry; it makes less sense to ME every time I try to describe it, hahaha! Needless to say, every time the "cannon" hit me, I floated back up to the top. And by floated back up, I mean, I practically flew up another 80 feet in less than a second. And this happened every time the bass struck. It wasn't frightening, but it was unsettling, and I won't be listening to music with a bassline anymore! =P

The second time, I noticed the music after I started to comedown, and it felt like the music was controlling my experience. Not that it was my enemy, just that I was not in control, and the music was, and the music was a factory of grinding gears all churning at the right time to produce a sound (in much the way that a single instrument in an orchestra might sound harsh if played in solo, but combined with the other instruments, the sounds blended together and sounded good).

Anyone else have any profound experiences with music?

But smoking it like you mean it doesn't produce much smoke. That's what I had been doing and the smoke was as thin as tobacco smoke. I don't think I mentioned my earlier experience. I've been doing it every night except one night since I got the stuff last Saturday. On the 2nd night I just briefly saw a big and tall shadowy figure across the room just long enough to freak me out then it was gone. And that was the end of that, except I had a VERY intense dream that night. Like my emotions in the dream were amplified 1000 times stronger than what you can feel in real life, which was a good thing. I didn't have any dream again last night but I so wish I'd have another dream like that. And I didn't feel the music in my body or anything, it just sounded so out of tune and unmusical, so it just made me wonder if our music sounds like crap on the other side.
