    Write about something you know.

:D - You can do what I did for people I met on other forums. You can write a ficitional story on them, show it to them, see what they say, and go with it.

I have a few people I do this for all the time! They have an E-mail name and sometimes that helps with a character.

I am sure you have people you write to all the time with interesting E-addy names.
Why not base a story on them and see what they say?

    Bye for now!

Gecko? May I expand on that? Thank You.

Write an Auto-Biography. Refer to your experiences on these forums. You'll have LOADS of reference material! (SP. I'm stoned.)

--some liquids are breathable, like liquid cfcs -- what is a planet had cfc oceans and humans colonised ?

--What if you failed to pay off your student loan and the repo man took away your education?

    etc.

You should write about a "certain" person who lives in a "certain" country. He also holds a "certain" position over the country that put him in a state of power. Well this "certain" person believes really strongly in a "certain" doctrine so much that he becomes a fundamentalist. Well this "certain" person shoves this "certain" doctrine down the throats of the "certain" country he is in power of. The environment and education goes into the toilet. Then he gets mad at another "certain" person and a "certain" group of people, because that person and people don't agree with him. So this certain person says a little prayer and pushes a few buttons and then a "certain" group of people who are a "certain" age have to go to the "certain" place the others are. Then a "certain" group of people who are living in the country of the fundamentalist person decide thats really shitty and increase their intake of "certain" substances, and say a few "certain" words. Then the person in power gets scared and buys tear gas and water hoses. You pick the ending man.

The best advice I ever got was this:

No matter what you're writting about, tell the readers something they didn't know about the subject and how it relates to thier world.
