havent heard it yet but i believe you can hear 3 or 4 songs on it on their site..i listened to them and i liked them its kinda lo-fi sounding and raw like round room
In indy we have a couple of radio stations that play PHiSH,and if the album is like the song they chose PHiSH has gone POP. however the songs on the website are COOL.
The new album is slightly "mainstream pop" and a little on the sappy side. I don't believe it's an over great album, but there are some great songs on it. Access is my favorite. Mike rules.
I got this album through mail order and i must say i was dissapointed that my favorite part about getting it was the free dvd and the free sticker. I consider myself an avid fan and i thought this album is pretty terrible, even farmhouse and roundroom had some good songs but this one is just terrible. I mean i guess its alright that the band wanted to make their songs more simplistic on this album but i think it just doesnt work.
I totally agree with what was said above, the style has changed, and I feel as if the "magic" really is gone. I did enjoy the DVD though...
totally agree here.....the album was a let down to me as well....not that the music is bad.....its just not all phish is capable of........the band seems to be another extension of trey...and it shows on this album....
