I second that. Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra is the way to go. A lot cheaper and better. All the "new" features that the 4th gen ipods have, my zen already had...

I have the Creative Zen Touch and I ADORE it. It holds like 40 GB of music/data AAAAND it looks almost exactly like an iPod (and has a 24 hour battery life). I'll recommend that over an iPod any day.

...And don't iPods only play music that you downloaded with iTunes and/or uploaded from your own CDs? Because, yeah, that annoys me (I have 10 GB of downloaded music, so, that was a biiig thing when selecting my MP3 player).

    Good luck.

It plays almost any music format, including downloaded Mp3's. In fact, the only ani-theft "protection" the device has is a sticker saying "Don't steal music".

Yeah. Scared me right away. I promptly deleted all my MP3's from my computer after reading that sticker.
