No one knows the truth about the guy you just hear everything second hand let the man alone hey he is our president and if you had such a fucking problem about him why didn't you get off your lazy ass and vote and if you did vote why didn't you get everyone else you know to vote. He is our president not everything is his fault sometimes you have to look at past president that leave messes for the next president to fix and the president doens't have all the say either you people forget about congress.

i see where your comming from, but you seem very uneducated. i hope you get a kick our of how sexist and dumb you are (reember your quote on lesbians in the gay book banning thread?) i couldnt vote ,but my boyfriend did, and it sure as fuck wasnt for stupid Bush! IF PEOPL VOTED FOR KERRY AND DIDNT GET HIM, THEY NOW CAN ONLY COMPLAIN ABOUT BUSH AND PROTEST AND TRY TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! no, im not going to leave bush alone. he has the intelligence of a 2 year old. JUST BECAUSE HE'S UNFORTUNATELY OUR PRESIDENT DOESNT MEAN WE HAVE TO RESPECT HIM AT ALL! my mom tried to tell me "you need to respect our president wether you agree with him or not." BUT THATS BULLSHIT! OUR "LAZY ASSES" did vote! and if not, i agree! i COULDNT because the GOVERNMENT RESTICTS ME FROM DOING IT! but i know not everything is his fault, and some people are stupidly influenced by others to "hate bush" with no reason why other than their favorite band does. and on the last note, THE NEXT PRESIDENT SHOULDNT HAVE TO FIX OUR CURRENT PRESIDENTS/GOVERNMENTS FUCK UPS. WE NEED CHANGE NOW, NOT LATER!

He's our president.. so we have to respect him? Fuck that. Just becuase idiots like you voted for him doesnt mean I should trust him or respect him. Respect an intolerant murderer? Never.

Virtually everyone I know voted for Kerry, myself included. All I/we can do now is become active against the things that Bush and his cronies do that are damaging to us and the country...and I believe that there are many things that are happening now that are damaging...our civil rights are being taken away, one by one, the separation of church and state is being threatened, on and on. Leave Bush's policies alone? Not exactly. Not when I see the country that I love being taken over by the government that I loathe...the government that would destroy all that I hold dear.

Yea, i do not care who was in office. Kerry and Bush have alot of the same ideas, the only subject that they really disagree on is taxes. If people are against Bush becasue of Iraq then elect the right Congressmen. If people are for the subject of Gays and lesbians the elect the right Congressmen. All a president can do is propose the amendment, not just say it and make it a law.

Executive orders allow a president to pretty much do whatever the fuck he wants.

The desicion of who gets to be President of the US, influences the whole world. But only American Citizens get to vote. And guess what, in 2000, they did not vote for Bush! The chose Gore, but Bush was allowed to steal it. Then he goes, makes his war, and gets reelected. But hey, shit happens! Too bad most shit happens in politics.

    Hahahaha... that's funny!

You left out the fact that Congress and the Supreme Court can override executive orders. Just a little bit of helpfull facts for anyone that believes your blind statement. They may give the president a pretty long leash, but they are always prepared to yank him in if he gets out of line.

The more people who vote, the less important or relevant a single person's vote becomes, statistically. When Ilana Mercer pointed this out in an article, I thought it was somewhat heretical, given the pro-democracy (or mobocracy) propaganda in our day and age.

I saw this on a bumper sticker and absolutely 100% agreed that "The Only Bush I Trust Is My Own."

God, I hate that asshole, Bush. And for those saying that he is our president and he won fair and square... you really dont know what the hell you are talking about... And dont try and come back and say that most of the states were red... cause as that is true, if you looked at the country county by county you would see that the US of A was purple... It gave me a glimps of hope for the future of this nation that is now viewed as ignorant and a bully by other countries. I for one do not wish to fall into the stereotype of the "American" as the world now sees us. Ignorant.
I believe that Lewis Black said the following but I could be wrong but I'm 99% sure: "If you worked with someone that came in everyday and said, 'I AM THE GREATEST PERSON IN THE WORLD!!! NO ONE CAN BEAT ME!!!' After the first week you would want to punch that person in the face."
This is the message that America sends to the world everyday. Don't you think that we should be worrying about the problems in America before we worry about everyone elses? Don't you think that it is sad that I am 20 years old and have to start saving for retirement now? Bush is just making matters worse then our more recent leaders already have. And I believe that while 1/2 of this nation has their heads on straight, there is still the other 1/2 that deserves to be sent somewhere far far away... to some distant trailer park... on the sun.

Wonderboy, doesn't that name just suit you. You make it sound like you are best friends with the man or should I say BOY. I did get off my ass and vote and I actually literally dragged people with me to go and vote. It would have been a dream that the green party would've won so I voted for the next best.Kerry. And it was never going to be Bush. The only bush I trust is my own. I'm not saying that it is ALL Bush's fault. Like it's not his fault that I got my period 2 weeks ago or that I had to wake up early this morning. But it is his fault we are fighting a war in Iraq when Afganistan was the threat, and that our natural resources are being tapped everywhere and ruined AND that I have to start saving up for retirement at age 20.
Now if you wanted to get technical about what you said about past presidents, technically, Bush was our past president and I'm sorry to say that he is our future president. Now if you are refering to Clinton then say Clinton. Regan... Regan... Nixon? etc. Back up your views fully before you start accusing people of being morons. Only ignorant people will be the ones that will jump so quickly to say that others are ignorant.

You say respect the office if not the man. The man doesn't even respect the office. He wipes his ass with it and throws the crap covered paper to the American people as evidence of a 'good job'. Fuck Bush. I say that out of respect for the office.
